Summer Program in IP Law announced

Bucerius / UC Hastings Summer Program in Transnational IP Law and Licensing

Just slightly a decade after inauguration, Bucerius Law School is consistently ranked as Germany's top law school, not in least due to its internationalization efforts and practice-oriented education. Both international and skills-based training are a pre-requisite for success for today's graduates.

The brand-new Bucerius / UC Hastings Summer Program in Transnational IP Law and Licensing (July 20 - August 8, 2014), offered in cooperation with UC Hastings College of the Law, San Francisco, United States, is designed to build practical skills for transacting technology licenses in an international context. It provides a thorough understanding of the core IP and licensing concepts, including industry practices, and familiarizes students with both the legal and business perspectives of licensing. The course culminates with a negotiation and drafting workshop involving an international technology license agreement. Site visits to major German and European enterprises round out the program. Students can earn a total of 5 ABA / 10 ECTS credits.

All Bucerius programs pride themselves with a rewarding academic curriculum taught by experienced professors and legal practitioners. Outside the classroom, an exciting extracurricular program and top-notch student services are offered.
